Benefits of Apple cider vinegar for goats

Apple cider can be added to the Goat Water daily as it enhances the alkaline levels of the gut, making it unwelcoming for parasites. Adding a tablespoon of organic ACV per gallon of water each day will improve the hair coat state along with several other health advantages. Other benefits of ACV are more excellent milk production and reduced mastitis, to decreased urinary calculi in bucks, to increased doe kids of supplemented dams.

Fruit/Veggie Vinegar-Homemade for Goats
Put fruit and or veggies chopped into1-2 inch chunks into a gallon glass jar. Fill jar 3/4 full. Fill with well water up to cover fruit/veggies. Add 1/4 cup sugar. Cover tops with cloth secured with rubber band around neck of jar. Now cover entire jar to keep light out. Stir daily. At 6 weeks, strain with cheesecloth and add 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar with mother. Add water to fill jar. Cover and stir daily for 4 weeks with wooden or plastic spoon. Then you have apple/fruit/veggie cider. Add 1 tablespoon vinegar per gallon or two of goats drinking water. Usually during the process, white yeast will form at the top of your jars. use a spoon and paper toweling to remove as best you can. the yeast forms because the mixture is very sweet. It does not hurt anything.
